D&I technology stack - What’s available out there?

As you may have gathered from our previous posts on the topic, diversity and inclusion are extremely important in the workplace. Not only do they improve productivity and innovation but from a recruitment standpoint, they widen the talent pool allowing us to find the best talent on the market. But when it comes to D&I, what kind of technology is out there on the market?

Well, let’s just say there are hundreds of tools. In fact, there are so many, that if we were to list them all, you’d be here all day.

So instead, we’re going to pick a few of our favorites covering talent acquisition and the management of diversity initiatives.

Talent Acquisition

This is the big one and so we’ll get it out of the way right off the bat. You can’t create a truly diverse and inclusive workforce unless you have the right tools and processes in place to identify diverse candidates. Here are the tools to make that happen.

This is an innovative app that tackles unconscious bias in the recruitment process head on. It’s a blind recruitment app that hides the names and photos of candidates so hiring managers or recruiters will judge the applicant on their skills and experience alone.

This platform allows employers to set work-related challenges for job applicants. This quickly determines a candidate's skill level and their suitability to a role. The reason we include this as a diversity tool is that their main focus is blind hiring. Like Blendoor, this is a great tool for eliminating unconscious bias.
